Online Notary and Apostille for Pennsylvania Signers
In Philadelphia, Harrisburg or anywhere else in Pennsylvania and need a document notarized and apostilled for use abroad? I'm a Florida Remote Online Notary. You sign by secure video from home, and because a Florida notary notarizes your document, it gets its apostille from the Florida Department of State.
How It Works
1. Notarize online: you join a recorded video session from your computer or phone, show your ID, complete identity proofing and sign electronically. Florida law lets an online notary located in Florida notarize for a signer in another state (s. 117.209(3), Florida Statutes). At the start, you confirm that you want the notarization done by a Florida notary under Florida law (s. 117.265(3)).
2. Florida apostille: the Florida Department of State issues apostilles for documents notarized by a Florida notary. I prepare and submit the request for you.
3. Delivered: sent to you, or straight to its destination, with tracking.
Florida Apostille or Pennsylvania Apostille?
• A document I notarize, such as a power of attorney, affidavit, consent letter or declaration, gets a Florida apostille, wherever you live.
• A Pennsylvania public record, such as a Pennsylvania birth or death certificate or a Pennsylvania court document, is signed by a Pennsylvania official, so its apostille comes from the Pennsylvania Department of State. I can't get a Pennsylvania apostille for you.
Good to Know
• Ask the office or country receiving your document whether it accepts a Florida online notarization and a Florida apostille before your session.
• If your document will be used in Pennsylvania, for example filed with a county recorder of deeds or a court, check with that office first.
• If your document needs witnesses, they can be with you or join by video. A witness who joins by video must be physically located in the United States (s. 117.285(4)). I can provide witnesses.
• Your session is recorded, and the recording and electronic journal are kept for at least 10 years (s. 117.245(4)).
What You Need
• Your document as a PDF, fully prepared and unsigned.
• A government photo ID that is current or was issued within the past five years, such as a Pennsylvania driver license or a U.S. passport (s. 117.05(5)(b)2.).
• A computer or phone with a camera, microphone and a steady internet connection.

Fees
Online notarization: $25 for the first notarial act and $5 for each additional notarial act in the same session, plus $15 per witness if I provide them. Florida law limits the fee to $25 per online notarial act (s. 117.275). The Florida Department of State charges $10 per apostille; my apostille service fee is quoted separately.
Important
I'm a Florida notary public, not an attorney. I can't prepare your document, tell you what it should say, or tell you whether a country or office will accept it. For those questions, please talk to an attorney or the office receiving your document.
